His recent
run also includes draws against another unbeaten
foe in Adrian Corona (9-0, 2 KOs) and
long-standing rival Ricky Lopez (21-5-1, 6 KOs).
In Conway
(29) he will be facing another tough costumer, and
a man who sees this as an opportunity to make a
break-through in what is his first championship
fight.
A pro since
2016, Conway has won his last three fights, and
like Perez he will be looking to further build on
his current momentum by winning the UBO title.
The more
experienced man, Perez, must be considered a
slight favourite going in, but Conway is hungry,
has had time to prepare well, and cant be counted
out by any means.
