quitters never win, and winners never quit, and
now, having rebounded with five wins inside the
distance, she is within touching distance of
realizing her dream of becoming a world
champion.
On
December 16 in Medellin, Colombia, Sarpa (5-1, 5
KOs) will fight undefeated Angie Murcia (4-0, 2
KOs) for the vacant Universal Boxing
Organization™ (UBO) world Flyweight title.
She has
been written off, and she knows that people will
continue to do so, referring to the fact that
she has turned forty-five, but Sarpa believes in
herself, repeating the often-used, but very
true, adages:

is just a number! Never let anyone bring you down.
Believe in yourself, and dreams will come true!”
Sarpa is
trained by a man who has a proven track-record of
making champions, a man she calls “the best
coach”: Monyette Flowers, who is also the trainer
of former UBO world Lightweight champion Stevie
Morgan.
Murcia is
only twenty-three, and will believe that her youth
will bring her victory and world champion status
after fighting Sarpa.
The two
women fought on the same card last month, so they
will both be familiar with what they are facing on
December 16.

promoted by T & K Boxing
Promotions, and part of a big card
which will also feature a second UBO title fight
to be announced.
