Romania's Marius “Black” Antonietti (13-4, 9 KOs) is aiming to celebrate Christmas as the Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Middleweight champion.

On December 9 at the Eross Zsolt Sports Hall in Miercurea-Ciuk (Csikszereda) in his home-country, Antonietti will face former WBA regional titlist Yeison Gonzalez (18-11, 12 KOs) from Venezuela for the vacant title.

From the city of Cluj-Napoca but fighting out of Switzerland, 33-year-old Antonietti turned professional in 2017 and fought for his first title in 2022 when he came up short against Serbian Novak Radulovic in a fight for the WBC Mediterranean title.

Now he gets a second chance to become a champion, fighting in Romania only for the second time as a pro, but he will not be faced with an easy task against the younger, hard-punching Gonzalez.

Still only twenty-four, Yeison Gonzalez has taken part in six championship fights already, and was only nineteen when he won the WBA Fedebol Super Welterweight title in August of 2018.

Coming off a victory on November 4 in Caracas, he will travel to Romania determined to return home with another belt as UBO champion.

Antonietti vs. Gonzalez for the UBO Inter-Continental Middleweight title will be promoted by Kiliti Promotions, and broadcast live as a Pay-Per-View via www.kilitipromotions.hu
