It was a
hard and competitive fight, but, while Belujsky
had his moments and many rounds were close, it was
Ryba who edged most of the rounds on the judges
cards.
Judges
Josef Duraj, Jan Teleki and Pavel Hynek scored the
fight 97-93, 97-93 and 98-92 for Ryba
who improved his professional record to
19-10-1 (15).
Ryba was
8-9-1 after eighteen bouts, and looked as if he
had settled for a role as a journeyman. But he has
now won eleven of his last twelve, transforming
himself into a contender.
A genuine
fighter much better than the statistics suggests,
former GBC Super Middleweight titlist “Big Bad
Vlad” Belujsky (28) drops to 13-8-1 (9) after
putting up an excellent performance.
