In one of the featured bouts of “Rumble By The River VII”, promoted by One One Six Boxing Promotions, Harold “The Predator” Jackson took home the vacant UBO Inter-Continental Super Welterweight title in impressive fashion.

Fighting Jimmy Ford III in a rematch of their original encounter almost exactly a year ago, which he won in the third round, Jackson did the job one round quicker this time, scoring a second round stoppage.

Jackson floored Ford twice before dramatically knocking him through the ropes and out of the ring, resulting in the referee waving the fight off and declaring the man from Chicago the new UBO champion.

The first fight was exciting and made the rematch attractive, but the second go-around turned out to be even more dramatic with a rare and spectacular ending.

With the victory Jackson improved his pro ledger to 9-4 (8), adding his new belt to a collection which already includes two United States Boxing Federation titles, the Alabama State title, and the American Boxing Federation (ABF) Mid America title.

Jimmy Ford drops to 5-2 (3), but was courageous in trying to reverse his sole defeat, showing grit and determination in the process.
