NEW DATE: NOVEMBER 27! The incredible story of Czech warrior Michal Ryba (18-10-1, 15 KOs) continues on October 20, when he headlines at the Sono in his home-town Brno.

The 29-year-old puncher takes on Ireland-based former GBC world champion Vladimir Belujsky (13-7-1, 9 KOs) from Slovakia for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight title.

Southpaw Ryba was 8-9-1 when he won the UBO East Europe title in May of 2022, but the record was deceiving and all the losses had come against good opponents, and often on their turf.

Last August Ryba won the UBO International title when he stopped Croatian Bosko Misic in the fourth round of a wild slugfest, and with victories in ten of his last eleven outings he is now ready for what would be his biggest triumph, if successful.

But “Big Bad Vlad” Belujsky will have his own plans, and like the home-man he is no stranger to tough fights against exceptional opponents. He will not be fazed by taking on Ryba in his back-yard, and will be coming to win by all means.

Ryba is looking to further build on his momentum, while for Belujsky it is a big opportunity to bounce back in style and become a champion again after losing to Olympic silver medallist Ben Whitaker this past July.

Their styles should mesh well, and this could easily turn out to be an edge-of-the-seat affair.
