Rahimov was
spiteful with his punches, and put his
combinations together excellently while Berry
tried his best to get on the inside.
In round
ten the Ukrainian hurt Berry who turned away in
pain, forgetting to protect himself at all times,
and Rahimov followed up with a nasty left hook to
knock him down.
Berry
bravely made it to his feet, but his corner had
seen enough and threw in the towel to make Rahimov
the new UBO world champion by technical knockout.
Rahimov
improved his professional record to 12-3 (7),
while Berry, who should be praised for stepping in
and doing his best, drops to 24-10-2 (10).
The
Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) congratulates
everyone involved for making a big night like this
happen despite the difficult circumstances.
