Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) East Europe Light Heavyweight champion Michal Ryba (16-10-1, 13 KOs) is ready to go for his second UBO title.

On August 19 at Nova Zbrojovska in Brno, Czech Republic, the hard-punching southpaw will face former UBO world title-challenger Bosko Misic (27-24, 23 KOs) for the vacant UBO International title.

Ryba (29), born in Brno, won the UBO East Europe title in May of last year, and has come out on top in eight of his last nine outings, only losing to former WBA world champion Tyron Zeuge in Germany.

Also a southpaw, Misic has challenged for four world titles, but, while he has won two of his last three, he has slipped into gate-keeper status and is looking to resurrect his career by defeating Ryba.

Less than a year ago, the 32-year-old Croatian lost a decision to 34-3 Predrag Radosevic in a WBU world title fight, so has shown recently that he can still compete at a high level.

Both fighters carry significant power and both like to mix things up, so this shapes up to be an explosive and entertaining fight where both men could hit the canvas before a winner is found.
