Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental and Latino Heavyweight champion Jesus “Tito” Escalera continued his impressive run on Saturday night, July 15, at the Centro Comercial La Estacion in Cali, Colombia.

Making his second defense of the titles he won in March of this year, Puerto Rican American Escalera impressively stopped Colombian challenger Deivis “El Felino” Casseres in the second round.

After a first round with the champion in Control, Casseres, was floored by a well-placed body-shot in the second, and failed to beat the count of referee Nelson Bravo, who waved the fight off at 1:40.

Southpaw puncher Escalera, fighting out of Florida, improved his impressive professional record to a perfect 15-0 (15) and also defended the WBC Fecarbox title and added the vacant WBA Fedebol title to his collection.

Barranquilla´s Casseres, who lost a decision to undefeated fellow countryman Arturo Leyva for the UBO World Light Heavyweight title in 2021, falls to 29-19-2 (23).

The fight headlined a championship double-header promoted by Good Fellas Boxing Promotions in association with Kkahuate Producciones and T & K Boxing Promotions.
