Jakarta, Indonesia, Boufoudi defeated colourful
and popular local veteran Geisler AP by
unanimous decision in the main event of a show
promoted by S.O.F. Boxing Promotions.
While the
bout never really caught fire, it was a good and
evenly contested affair. Boufoudi was however
the sharper and quicker man, and successfully
executed his game-plan against an opponent who
has seen it all.
After ten
rounds of boxing, televised live by TVRI Sport,
judges Nus Ririhena, Okky Abri Bakrin and Jemmie
Latue scored it 96-94, 97-93 and 98-92
respectively.

who also picked up the vacant WBC Asian Boxing
Council Continental title in the process, improved
his professional record to 8-1-1 (3).
Geissler
AP, a former three-time Indonesian champion and
WBC and WBA regional titlist, dropped to 15-13-2
(12).
