Puerto Rican-born, Florida-based, Heavyweight Jesus “Tito” Escalera will bid for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Inter-Continental and Latino Heavyweight titles on February 24 in Cartagena, Colombia.

Both a fighter and a promoter, Escalera (6-0, 6 KOs) will face fellow southpaw Yonny Molina (10-4-1, 6 KOs) from Venezuela on a card promoted by his own T & K Boxing Promotions.

Escalera turned pro just four months ago, and has been on a whirlwind schedule, winning two American Boxing Federation (ABF) titles in January, stopping 7-1-1 Jose Medina in two rounds.

Yonny “El Gocho” Molina, a professional since 2017, lost his first two paid outings but has since come back strong.

In two previous championship-challenges he drew and lost to Dominican Abigail Soto, who is now a 13-0-1 contender, for a WBC regional title.

Escalera vs. Molina will be serving as co-feature to the UBO world Heavyweight title encounter between American Tyrell Anthony Herndon and local man John Cortez.
