Former Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) world title-challenger Sandy Coget from France was a quality operator throughout her professional career, which spanned between 2012 and 2017.

After going 3-0-1 in her first four outings, she lost two close fights to Belgian Sanae Jah, who went on to become European champion a few months later.

In 2015 Coget captured the French national Flyweight title, defeating Cyrielle Herbert, and recorded her careers best victory later that year when she out-pointed former and future WBF world champion Anne Sophie Da Costa (19-1).

After a successful defense of the French title, Coget received a shot at the vacant European Flyweight title in May of 2016, but came up short on the scorecards against Loredana Piazza in Italy.

Almost exactly a year later she lost a decision to Spain´s Joana Pastrana for the European Minimumweight crown, but proved she belonged at the highest level. The following year Pastrana won the IBF world title.

When Coget was selected to challenge reigning UBO world Minimumweight champion Oezlem Sahin (22-1-1) three months later, it was with the knowledge that she would unquestionably fight with everything she had to win.

She did just that, and it was an excellent and even fight in Essen, Germany. But Sahin also showed her quality, and emerged victorious by scores of 95-94, 96-93 and a mystifying 98-91.

Coget decided to bow out at the top, and the fight against Sahin proved to be her last. She retired with a very deceiving 8-7-1 (0) record, which didn't due her justice as a world class boxer at the time.
