European Champ Yucel Ready For UBO World Title-Shot

Still only eighteen years old, current Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Female European champion Dilara Yucel from Turkey is gearing up for a chance to become world champion on May 13.

 
 

In her home-town Istanbul, the undefeated (9-0, 8 KOs) “She Wolf” will face Happy Daudi (10-9-1, 5 KOs) from Tanzania for the vacant UBO World Super Welterweight title.

Yucel has only been a pro since October of 2020, and captured the UBO European Super Welterweight crown less than a year later when she stopped Georgian Nana Chakhvashvili in three rounds last September.

In Daudi (34) the teenage sensation will take on her most accomplished opponent to date, as the African is a former IBA world title-challenger.

After losing six of her first seven fights, Daudi has firmly resurrected her career and gone 9-3-1 in her last thirteen outings.


 
 

It remains to be seen if the visitor will have seen too much for the local favourite, or if Yucel proves too fresh and powerful in front of what is expected to be a large and lively crowd.

Televised live in Turkey by TV 8,5, Yucel vs. Daudi for the UBO Female World Super Welterweight title will be part of a big show promoted by Serdar Avci Promotions.
