In 2014
she stopped Thailand´s Thanya Tuyon to win the
WIBF and GBU World Minimumweight titles, but
lost them again the following year to Filipino
Gretchen Abaniel by split decision.
Following
a routine rebound win in early 2016 she won the
UBO World title. In 2018 she attempted to add
the IBF version to her resume, but came up short
by close majority decision to Joana Pastrana in
Spain.
But in
March of 2019 Sahin became a three-time world
champion, when she out-pointed former WBF
champion Anne Sophie Da Costa to claim the
vacant WIBA World Minimumweight crown and take
her record to 25-2-1 (8).
Unfortunately that has so far been the last time
she boxed, but only recently she expressed an
interest in reclaiming the UBO world title she
once held.
