While Kovacs
(26-9-1, 5 KOs) came up short in WBA, WBC and
WBO title fights, he won the
Universal
Boxing Organization™ (UBO)
International Super Lightweight title in
February of 2016, and on October 14 he will be
aiming to win his second UBO championship.
Headlining a show promoted by Fight Night Show
Promotions in the city of Szazhalobata, about an
hours drive from his home-town Szilasliget,
Kovacs will take on compatriot Karoly Gallovich
(10-4, 0 KOs) for the vacant UBO Europe Super
Lightweight title.

This
will be a rematch of their entertaining first
encounter this past May, which Kovacs won by
decision after eight rounds of action. He is
confident he can win again, and Gallovich
believes he can turn the tables this time
around.
Promoter
Tibor Feja has put together an interesting event
for the fans, and the UBO title fight will be
preceded by five undercard fights featuring
local boxers.
