UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

The vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ World Super Bantamweight title will be on the line when Oleksandr Yegorov takes on Malkhaz Tatrishvili from Georgia at the AKKO International in Kiev, Ukraine on Friday July 17.

Yegorov (13-1-1, 6 KOs) turned pro in 2010, and captured the Ukrainian national title in 2013.

His sole defeat came at the hands of undefeated Englishman Gavin McDonnell, by decision, in a fight for the European title at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.

In Tatrishvili (12-9, 1 KO), Yegorov will be in with a tricky and experienced foe who has fought a long line of good opponents away from home.

This will be the Georgians first championship fight since entering the paid ranks in 2012.

Promoted by Union Boxing Promotion, the Yegorov vs. Tatrishvili UBO title fight will be part of a huge nationally televised championship triple-header, preceded by a stacked undercard involving a mix of local prospects and contenders.
