UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

With a convincing performance on Saturday night, January 31, at Friends Corner Hotel in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, Nasibu Ramadhani won the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ All-Africa Super Bantamweight title.

22-year-old Ramadhani used his nice boxing skills to keep opponent Issa Nampepeche (21) at bay, and controlled the action in most of the scheduled ten rounds, giving scoring referee Anthony Ruta a relatively quiet day on the job.

After the final bell, judges Pembe Ndava, Robert Kasiga and Ruta scored the fight 98-92, 97-93 and 98-92, all in favor of Ramadhani, who captured his careers first title in the paid ranks.

The new UBO All-Africa Champion improved his professional record to 15-5-1 (7), while Nampepeche falls to 19-3-4 (7).

The show was promoted by Ally Mwazoa and his Mwazoa Promotions.
