UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

On February 28 in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, local rivals Cosmas ”Prince Mikumi” Cheka will take on Ibrahimu “King” Class for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ All-Africa Lightweight title.

Both boxers are young and hungry at 24 years of age, and both will be facing their stiffest tests since turning professional in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

Cheka, the reigning Tanzanian national champion, is undefeated in his last eleven bouts, and currently spots a fine record of 13-3-4 (1).

In his last outing, this past December, he showed good form in out-pointing former UBO International Champion Ramadhani Shauri in a non-title fight.

Ibrahimu Class lost his paid debut, but has since been on a roll and won eleven straight to compile an impressive 11-1 (4) record.

Last June he traveled to Zambia where he stopped undefeated local boxer Mwansa Kabinga in the ninth stanza of a scheduled ten-rounder.

With two Dare-Es-Salaam boxers squaring off in a title fight in the main event, a big crowd is expected for this show promoted by Ally Mwazoa and his Mwazoa Promotions.
