It was a successful night for Profibox-Promotions on Saturday March 22, as Gabor Molnar and Renata Domsodi both won UBO titles in front of a packed house at the Sportpalast in Bielefeld, Germany.

Molnar, only a youngster at 20, showed maturity beyond his age as he boxed clever to win a unanimous decision over fellow Hungarian David Kanalas to lift the vacant International Bantamweight crown.

It was a good and competitive bout, but Molnar showed a little extra and won the majority of the rounds on all judges cards.

Finally successful in his fourth title fight, Molnar took his professional record to 15-5 (10), while Kanalas drops to 14-10 (7).

Moving down in weight, former two-time Super Featherweight world title-challenger Renata Domsodi was too much to handle for previously undefeated Alexandra Vlajk, as she won the vacant Female International Bantamweight title.

In another entertaining scrap, Domsodi used all her experience to outbox and outwork Vlajk on her way to a clear unanimous decision.

Vlajk, now 5-1 (1) had her moments, but Domsodi, who improved to 12-4 (5), just seemed to have an answer for everything.

UBO President Joerg Herzog, serving as supervisor at ringside, expressed his satisfaction in the two title fights, and made it clear that both winners could be future contenders for UBO world titles.
