Hot Chilean prospect Alan “Puma” Bahamondes will fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (South America) Light Heavyweight title on August 15.

Bahamondes (6-0, 3 KOs) will rematch tough Argentine Fabricio Emmanuel Sposito (6-4-1), in the main event of a show at the Estadio Deportivo Parque Croata in Antofagasta.

In November of 2024 Sposito gave Bahamondes all he could handle, before losing a close decision. Now they go again, and the visitor will be coming to get his revenge.

The 25-year-old local man turned pro in June of 2024, and has build a good following fighting in his home-town, and a significant crowd is expected to turn up to support him in his first championship fight.

Sposito (27) had a rough start to his pro campaign in 2022, losing his first two and getting a No Contest in his third outing.

Since then he has won six, and only lost to Bahamondes and another Chilean in former WBC Latino champion Abraham Tebes, also by close decision.

On August 15 he will be going all out to come out on top, while Bahamondes is aiming to show that his victory in their first fight was no fluke.
