Chilean Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) world Super Lightweight champion Patricio “Pato” Carrion (22-1, 6 KOs) is set for his first title defense.

The 33-year-old will face dangerous Colombian Gabriel “El Trencito” Jimenez (15-5, 13 KOs) on August 8, at the Arena Cavancha in his home-town Iquique.

Carrion won the UBO world title last February at the same venue, when he stopped Bolivian Dante Colque Fernandez in three rounds.

Not known for his power but seen more as a technician, Carrion will attempt to change that perception by winning his third straight inside the distance against Jimenez.

But the Colombian, still only twenty-two years old, has his own ideas, and is confident that his power can carry him trough to score the upset.

La Historia Continúa” (The Story Continues), Patricio Carrion´s UBO world Super Lightweight title defense against Gabriel Jimenez will be promoted by TC2 Boxing.
