"El Chino" Ajito UBO World Flyweight Champion

Eduardo “El Chino” Ajito is the new Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) world Flyweight champion after winning the vacant title on July 15 at the Coliseo Marotta in Callao, Peru.

  
 

After twelve rounds of action, Ajito was declared the winner by Split Decision over Mexican co-challenger Eduardo Yudel Reyes Torres.


Judges Shirley Alvarado and Ever Cuba scored the fight 119-107 and 118-108 for Ajito, while judge Hernan Lugo saw Reyes Torres as the winner by 115-111.


Ajito scored a knock-down with a left hook in round 7, and Reyes Torres was deducted a point for an illegal blow in round 10.


 
 

The new UBO world Flyweight champion improved his professional record to 26-2-1 (13), while the very capable Reyes Torres drops to 18-6 (8).
