UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

Undefeated knockout-artist Dominic Barry (10-0-1, 10 KOs) will enter the biggest fight of his career to date when he challenges for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) Continental (North America) Cruiserweight title on July 18.

On a show billed as Ring Wars, promoted by King´s Promotions at the County Coliseum in his home-town El Paso, Texas, he will take on New Jersey´s DeJon Farrell-Francis, who brings a modest but deceiving 5-3 (4) record, coming off four stoppage wins.

Barry turned pro in March of 2024, and won his first five with ease before experiencing his first minor set-back, a draw against Ronald Baca the following November. Since then he has swept aside another five opponents, all inside two rounds.

Farrell-Francis had a rough start to his pro campaign, losing three of his first four. But since September of last year he too has been convincing, and he is confident he can continue his winning streak and upset the local hero.

Barry may be the favourite going in, but in a battle of punchers such as this anything can happen. Its bound to be explosive and exciting, and very unlikely to go the distance.
