Almost ten
years after making his professional debut,
Ajito
takes on
an opponent
still to be confirmed
in the main
event of a show
in his
home-town Callao.
A
former WBA
regional titlist at Light Flyweight,
the
37-year-old
has only lost in two bids for WBO championships,
and is unbeaten in his last thirteen bouts.
If successful
on June 27, Ajito
will be only the third
professional
world
boxing
champion from
his country, following Kina Malpartida
(WBA Super Featherweight,
2009-2012)
and Alberto Rossel (WBA Interim Light Flyweight,
2009-2014).
