Argiolas Face Compatriot Buremi In UBO Title Defense

When Italian Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Super Welterweight champion Sebastiano Argiolas defends his title on June 13, it will be in an intriguing match-up against one of his fellow countrymen.

  
 

At the Arena Narcao in Narcao, not far from his home-town of Cagliari, Argiolas (10-1-1, 5 KOs) will take on Simone Buremi, who enters his first title-challenge with a record of 6-1 (1).


Argiolas won the vacant UBO International title last December, when he scored a unanimous decision over Romanian co-challenger Claudiu Lacatus (10-1, 1 KO).


That was something of a coming-out party for the 27-year-old, and Buremi (26) is hoping that he will have his own equivalent on June 13.


 
 

The main event of a card promoted by Bazooka Events, the fight will be broadcast live in Italy by SKY channels 809 and 244.
