The Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International and Continental (Asia) Cruiserweight title fight between Sebastien Philippote and Thoedsak Sinam was originally scheduled to take place March 12 in Bangkok, Thailand.

But due to travel restrictions caused by war in The Middle East it was postponed, and will now take place on May 2 in Cebu City, Philippines.

Philippote is a former IBA International champion, and brings a record of 9-6 (3) after winning nine of his last ten bouts following five straight defeats at the start of his career.

Now he has a chance to win two UBO titles in one fight, but can expect a stern test from the experienced and hard-punching Sinam.

Former WBC Asia Light Heavyweight titlist Sinam (26-22, 22 KOs) is on a mission to become a champion in a second weight-class, and has had plenty of time to prepare, so it will be interesting to see who emerges victorious.

As was the case for the cancelled fight in Thailand, 2025 UBO Promoter of the Year Tunal Academy will be the promoter.
