Youngster Dana Kofi Fights Former World Champion Olagbade For UBO Title

At the Idrowhyt Events Centre in Accra, Ghana, he will face former WBU world champion Sulaimon "Tyson" Olagbade from Nigeria in one of the featured bouts of Cabic Big Fight Night, promoted by Cabic Promotions.

Kofi is coming off a fine victory over another Nigerian, undefeated prospect Kazeem Ajiboye, whom he stopped in six rounds this past January.

He has shown that he has significant power in both hands, but still he only brings a modest 4-3 (4) record, and could be considered a firm underdog against the experienced Olagbade.

While Kofi turned professional less than two years ago, Olagbade 13-2 (11) has been a prizefighter for almost fourteen years.

He won the Nigerian national title in 2015, defended it, and then added West African Boxing Union and WBU world titles to his resume in 2018.

The local youngster is entering his first championship fight, and it will be a massive triumph for him should he be able to defeat his veteran opponent.

Also on the card, Emmanuel Mankatah (8-3-1, 6 KOs) takes on Yusuf Olalekan (9-2, 7 KOs) for the UBO Continental (Africa) Super Featherweight crown.
