Segbedzi Defends UBO Africa Crown Against High Risk Commey

In what is bound to be an explosive affair, Segbedzi (8-0, 7 KOs) will face fellow Ghanaian puncher Isaac Commey (8-1, 8 KOs) in one of the featured bouts of a card promoted by BROWNED WORLDWIDE in association with Box Office Sports Promotions.

Segbedzi won the UBO title in March of last year, stopping Victor Kemavor in two rounds. He retained it last December when his fight against Isaac Aryee was halted in the eighth round due to crowd trouble.

Both boxers hailing from Accra, this is a highly anticipated fight locally, and a dangerous one for both. Segbedzi is widely recognized as one of Ghana´s most promising young boxers, but Commey is a very risky proposition for him.

Commey made his pro debut in August of 2022, losing to 5-0 hot prospect Alidu Suleman. But since then he has been on a rampage with eight straight knockouts, a no opponent making it further than three rounds.

Already announced for the massive show at one of Africa's most iconic venues is Prince Patel vs. Maxwell Awuku for UBO world honours at Welterweight, and Tony Bange vs. Eliasu Sulley for the UBO world Super Middleweight title.
