UBO Challenger: Abdo "Monster" Khaled

While his pro record currently stands at a mediocre 10-5-1 (9), he is still only twenty-three years old and has plenty of time to continue to learn and improve his statistics.

Khaled lost his pro debut and drew in his second fight, but then won his next four and picked up the Egyptian national Middleweight title along the way.

He then only won three of his next five, but added the Egyptian Super Middleweight crown to his resume before coming up short in a WBC regional title fight against Stephan Fondjo (8-1) in Dubai in June of 2022.

He was a clear underdog when he fought Twaha Kassim (19-8-1) for the UBO titles three months later in Tanzania, but while he lost a unanimous decision he acquitted himself very well and showed he has a lot to offer.

He has since won three straight, all inside the distance, and should get plenty of opportunities in significant fights in the years to come.

Khaled is clearly talented, and it looks like he has the ambitions too to go along way as one of the current and future stars of boxing in his country.
