Osibor Boxing Management presented a
Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO)
championship double-header on Friday, July
5, at the SG Mall in Kumasi, Ghana, with two
up-and-coming stars winning titles.

“The
Ashanti Warrior”, Stanley Nyintakyi, won the
vacant UBO Africa Featherweight title when he
stopped fellow countryman Isaac Nettey in the
third round.
23-year-old Nyantakyi had too much speed and
power for his veteran opponent, who tried but
was out-gunned in every department.

Nyantakyi,
who won the Ghanaian national title in his
previous bout, improved his professional record to
10-1 (10). Nettey drops to 28-18-1 (17).

In the
co-feature, John “The Monster” Zile copied the
feat of his stable-mate when he stopped
hard-hitting Isaac Quartey in
the fourth round to
capture the vacant UBO International Super
Bantamweight title.
And again
it was a case of Zile (24) being being better on
every level, and Quartey wanting to do ore than
his body could follow through with at this stage
of his career.

Zile takes his professional ledger to 13-0-2 (11),
while Quartey falls to 26-13-1 (23).
Both Nyantakyi
and Zile are hoping to challenge for UBO world
titles in the near future, and their performances
in Kumasi showed that they are ready for the next
level.
