In one of
the featured bouts of a show at Fimuara Stadium,
they will decide the vacant UBO International
Super Welterweight title.
Originally from Argentina, Schinina (9-3, 2 KOs)
turned pro in his birth-country in 2020, and won
four straight fights before relocating his
career to Spain and later Italy in 2022.
In his
only previous championship fight, Schinina (29)
lost a decision to undefeated Charlemagne
Metonyekpon for the Italian national title last
year, but has since returned with a routine
victory.

Cordovez
(10-5, 5 KOs) had a rough start when he turned
professional in 2020, losing three of his first
four outings. But the results were somewhat
deceiving, as his debut opponent was 8-0-1, and
his second foe was 16-6-1.
Since
November of 2021 the 22-year-old Venezuelan has
only lost twice, both times by split decision,
while he has won nine fights, including his most
recent this past March.
This will
be his first time fighting outside of Venezuela,
and with nothing to lose he is bound to give
everything he has to upset the apple-cart.
