A sharp Bronco McKart proved that he had every right to be confident ahead of his UBO World Middleweight title fight Saturday night at Monroe High School. The former WBO and IBA world champion dominated a game but outgunned Michie Munoz and won his third World title with a seventh round stoppage in front of an enthusiastic hometown crowd. McKart, who’s teenage son Banyon sang the national anthem before the bout, quickly took control of the action and bombarded Munoz with well-placed body shots and mixed in some precise and hard uppercuts. As the rounds passed, it became apparent that Munoz would have to come up with something extraordinary to prevail, and it was just a matter of time before McKart would finally break his adversary down. |
