| The UBO Latino Welterweight title fight between Franklin Mamani (6-0-1, 5 KOs) and Idiozan Matos (13-10, 7 KOs), originally scheduled for October 15, has been moved two weeks to October 29, due to a minor injury suffered by Mamani. The undefeated Bolivian has been cleared to box on the new date, and the venue will remain the Coliseo Julio Borelli Viteritto in La Paz, Bolivia. While the country has hosted numerous local and national title fights, this will be only the fourth championship bout in Bolivia in more than ten years where a bigger title is on the line. |

Franklin Mamani last boxed this past May when an injury caused his fight against former WBA world champion Raul Balbi to be declared a no-contest. That fight was for the WBA Fedebol crown, and while Matos is a veteran of six title fights it will be Mamani´s second title attempt. Should he win the UBO title on October 29, it will be quite an accomplishment in only his eighth professional bout. Also see:
