Undefeated UBO world cruiserweight champion Goran Delic
(12-0) will make the third defence of his title on June
28 at the Gradski Stadium in Baja Luka, Bosnia &
Herzegovina. Opponent will be tough Italian challenger
Michele De Meo (9-1) who will be fighting outside his
native country for the first time.
Delic won the world title in December 2007 with a
unanimous decision over Spaniard David Blanco, and has
since retained against Portugal’s Antonio Quiganga and
Marco Heinichen of Germany. In De Meo, a slugger
nicknamed “Crazy Bull”, he might be facing his hardest
test to date.
Delic vs. De Meo is promoted by Ljubomir Vidovic, and as
always when Delic fights, a huge crowd is expected to
attend.
