Miyeyusho, who won the UBO title in November 2011
by defeating former IBO World Champion Mbwana
Matumla, put on a dominant performance to stop
challenger Nasibu Ramadhan in the tenth round.
Nasibu was knocked down in round nine, and
eventually retired as he was given another count
by referee Anthony Ruta in the tenth.
With the victory Miyeyusho improved his record to
33-10-2 (20), while Ramadhan had a seven-fight
winning streak broken and fell to 10-3 (4).
In the co-featured bout, Fadhili Majia scored a
unanimous decision over local rival Juma Fundi,
the same man he had won the UBO title against, by
split decision, last year. This time there was no
doubt, and Majia, only nineteen yeats old, can lay
claim to being the best Flyweight in his country.
