The defending champion dominated her taller
opponent from the start, and despite being durable
Duarte never managed to seriously threaten
Comunales during the ten rounds.
Comunales was quicker, slicker and more skilled,
and had a relatively easy time outboxing Duarte in
every round.
While the fight was fought in a rather low pace,
it was an impressive performance by Comunales who
showed off her technical attributes and ability to
stay focused against an opponent who had little to
offer besides durability.
