Pastukh impressively finished Tanzanian Chupaki
Chipinda in the fourth round to improve his
professional record to 9-0 (9), while the visitor
dropped to 13-3 (4).
In the first round, Chipinda was the more active
of the two and worked well behind his jab and
straight right hands, while Pastukh took his time
and seemed to be evaluating his opponent for an
attack later in the bout.
The second was more of the same, with Chipinda
going forward and Pastukh looking for openings
behind his tight guards.
In round three it was still the home-man on the
back foot, but Pastukh was now starting to have
some success with his jab, and, while Chipinda was
still the aggressor, one got the impression that
the Russians bigger physique and power would be a
deciding factor as the rounds passed. |
