UBO - Universal Boxing Organization™

On November 24 in Cincinnati, Ohio, former top-rated Heavyweight contender Larry “The Legend” Donald (42-5-3, 24 KOs) will take on an opponent to be announced for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ Inter-Continental title.

In the co-feature, another Cincinnatian, Rob Dula (16-2-1, 8 KOs), will fight TBA for the vacant UBO Inter-Continental title at Light Heavyweight.

The UBO Championship doubleheader will be promoted by Next Level Boxing, headed by Terrence Johnson, and a significant crowd is expected to attend the homecoming of two of Cincinnati’s local heroes.

Donald, who turned professional in 1993, has won several regional titles and fought some of the biggest names in the sport. He holds victories over contenders Jeremy Williams, Bert Cooper and Tyrell Biggs, and former World Champions Tim Witherspoon and Evander Holyfield.

His losses came against former or future World Champions Riddick Bowe, Vitali Klitschko, Nikolay Valuev and Alexander Povetkin, and top-class contender Kirk Johnson, and only Klitschko was able to stop Donald inside the distance.

UBO Title-Challenger Larry "The Legend" Donald!

Now “The Legend” will start his way back to another fight against a big name by going for the UBO title on November 24.

While Rob Dula is not nearly as accomplished as his fellow Cincinnati-native, he is still a local fan favorite and will almost certainly be enjoying massive support when he goes for his first title in the pro ranks. A Southpaw, Dula turned professional in 1993, and didn’t lose until 2005 when massive puncher Eric Mitchell got the better of him.

In 2006 Dula lost a decision to future contender Billy Lyell, but, while he has been largely inactive, he has not lost since and will now be looking to make a statement in front of his hometown fans.
