Cheka Stops Nyilawila, Wins UBO International Title

It was an impressive performance bv Cheka, a former Inter-Continental titlist at Middleweight, after the two fought a close bout to a decision in January, the 30-year-old from Morogoro this time came from behind to end matters in the sixth.  
   

Nyilawila seemed to be on his way to giving Cheka another close run for his money, and many at ringside had him ahead in the fight as the two boxers entered the sixth round. But Cheka came out as a reenergized man, and put Nyilawila under pressure before sending him down with a hard right hand.
 

Referee Jerome Waluza waved the fight off shortly after a hurt Nyilawila made it to his feet, while the crowd cheered Cheka.

Francis Cheka improved his professional record to 26-6-1 (15), and Karama Nyilawila fell to 13-9-2 (6). This was the former World Champions second loss in a row, both to Cheka, since winning the WBF title in December 2010 in the Czech Republic, but a third fight with Cheka should be a possibility.
