On a show billed “Heavyweight Collision”, Aurieng
impressively stopped Gospic in two rounds to win
his careers first boxing championship, after many
titles in the martial arts world where he has
competed at world class for years.
Gospic seemed confident that his big power-shots
could get him the victory, but Aurieng fought
smart and clearly had speed on his side.
Most expected a long and close bout, so it was a
big, but happy, surprise for the enthusiastic fans
at ringside when Aurieng managed to get rid of his
opponent in less than six minutes.
After suffering some unexpected losses earlier in
his career, Aurieng seems to have found his form
and improved his professional record to 6-3 (2).
