The fight will be promoted by Unified Boxing
Promotions in cooperation with Floyd Trumpet Fight
Productions, and the show will also feature two
female world title fights involving Ria Ramnarine
and Lorissa Rivas.
Trumpet, 16-8-2 (9), is a former WBA Fedecaribe
champion, and is coming off four straight
victories. He was originally scheduled to fight
for the UBO title in March, but various obstacles
forced the fight to be postponed.
The Blade is a former WBF and IBA World title
challenger, and will enter the ring with
considerably more experience than his ten years
younger opponent. This will be his eighth title
fight, while it will only be the fourth for Sostre.
Nicknamed “The Hudson Valley Kid”, Sostre will
bring a stellar 11-3-1 (4) record, and is
undefeated in his last ten fights.
