When Mukadi Manda promotes on April 30 at the massive 80.000 seat Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa, D.R.C. it will be a UBO All-Africa Championship double-header presented in cooperation with the country’s leading distributer of consumer goods since 1922, Beltexco.

UBO All-Africa Heavyweight Champion Matamba Postolo!

For many years Beltexco was the official sponsor of Manda, with their Nelson razor blades, when he was an active professional boxer himself, and now they have followed him into his new career as a promoter.

Beltexco was a big part of brining the first Universal Boxing Organization™ title fights to D.R.C., when they sponsored UBO International championship bouts featuring Matamba Postolo and Ilunga Dominuque last year. On April 30, Beltexco will once again be behind Postolo and Dominique when the two undefeated boxers headline in Kinshasa.

Matamba Postolo (12-0, 7 KOs) will defend his UBO All-Africa Heavyweight crown, a title he won this past October when he stopped Thomas Moutuari from neighboring Congo Brazzaville in seven rounds. No opponent is confirmed yet, for what will be Postolo’s first fight of 2011.

Ilunga Dominique (9-0-1, 1 KO) won the UBO International Welterweight title in March 2010, and successfully defended it last October by beating Ali Kulibali from Mali. He will now go for the vacant UBO All-Africa Welterweight title against an opponent to be decided.

The Democratic Republic of Congo waited twenty-five years after the legendary 1974 Ali-Foreman “Rumble In The Jungle” fight to see a filled stadium for boxing when Manda defended his TWBA title in Kinshasa in 1999. Now, twelve years later, Manda and Beltexco is making it happen again with two UBO All-Africa title fights that has the people of D.R.C. lining up for tickets for Martyrs Stadium on April 30.
