Mudde Ntambi Rabison is the new Universal Boxing Organization™ World Super Flyweight Champion. The 25-year-old Ugandan won a competitive and entertaining fight against Tanzanian champion Fadhili Majia on Sunday night (February 6) at Little Flowers Arena in Kampala.

Both boxers had promised to emerge victorious from the bout, and it was clear that no love was lost between them.

They both started aggressively and the first few rounds were hard to score as only a few punches seemed to separate the two.

As the rounds went by Ntambi started to take over and, perhaps spurred on by the enthusiastic crowd, looked fresher and more determined.

After twelve tough and high-paced rounds, the local hero was deservedly awarded a unanimous decision and the UBO World title belt.

Mudde Ntambi improved his record to 17-1-1 (6), and Fadhili Majia lost for the second time as a professional and is now 8-2-1 (4).

"It was a tough fight for me, and Majia gave me a good challenge. I dedicate this world championship to my fans, promoters and the government of this country", said a jubilant Ntambi after the bout.

The show was promoted by Eddie Bazira and his Baltic Pro-Box Promotions, and supervised by the Ugandan Professional Boxing Commision headed by Celestino Mindra.
