The often postponed UBO World Super Flyweight title fight between Mudde Ntambi Rabison and Fadhili Majia is now finally set for February 6 at Little Flowers Arena in Kampala, Uganda. Promoter Eddie Bazira of Baltic Pro Box Promotions is guaranteeing that everything is finalized, and that there will be no more delays.

“We have had various problems out of our control which made it impossible to stage the fight earlier. But now we are good to go, and Majia and his team has been given tickets already”, said Bazira yesterday.

The fight was officially announced on a press conference in Kampala Wednesday, and Ntambi Rabison (16-1-1, 8 KOs) is well aware that he is facing a stern challenge in Majia, saying:

“I will go all out for this one. I have never ducked a challenge, and will fight anybody put in front of me. He is good, I know, but I am better”.

Tanzanian Champion Majia (8-1-1, 4 KOs) is equally confident, and promised to take his frustrations of waiting for the fight out on Ntambi:

“It’s been frustrating to wait for things to fall into place, but now that all is set I can’t wait to travel to Kampala and give Ntambi a hiding. He may be fighting in his hometown, but that won’t help him in the ring. I am going to be World Champion on February 6, no doubt about it”.

The undercard will feature five well-matched bouts involving local talent, and Pro Box Promotions is expecting a sell-out crowd to cheer on Ntambi in his quest to win the UBO title.
