| Bronco ”Superman” McKart (52-9-1, 31 KOs) and Michie ”The Mexican Sensation” Munoz (22-5, 15 KOs) weighed in on Friday night at Sharkies in Monroe, Michigan for their Universal Boxing Organization™ World middleweight title fight Saturday night (Oct. 30) at Monroe High School. McKart recently told uboboxing.com that he is in great shape and that no stone has been left unturned in getting ready for this fight, and it certainly looked the case on Friday as a trimmed and confident-looking former world champion tipped the scales at 158,5 Lbs. Munoz on the other hand came in at 163 Lbs. in his first try, three pounds over the middleweight limit, and was told to go and try to shed the excess weight. When he came back one hour later he was 162 Lbs., but after a meeting between UBO Supervisor Macke Roberts, the Michigan Boxing Commission and the two boxer’s teams, it was decided that the fight will go on, but that only McKart can win the title. |
