| It will be former NABC champion Michi “El Matador” Munoz, 22-5 (15), from Mexico who takes on Bronco McKart, 52-9-1 (31), for the UBO World middleweight title on October 30 in Monroe, Michigan. Turner Boxing Productions will promote. Born in Leon, Mexico, Munoz turned professional in the United States in 2004 and is fighting out of Topeka, Kansas. At 29 years of age he will have youth on his side compared to McKart, but will never the less come in as the underdog against the former WBO and IBA champion. Munoz has mixed in very good company, and only lost to significant names such as Vanes Martirosyan, Carson Jones and John Duddy. |
