| Mudde Ntambi Rabison will fight newly crowned UBO International Flyweight champion Juma Fundi for the UBO World Super Flyweight title on August 28 at the Hotel Africana in Kampala, Uganda. The bout will headline a show promoted by 2007 UBO Promoter of the year Eddie Bazira and his Baltic Pro Box Promotions. 25-year-old Ntambi Rabison made his professional debut in 2005 and has since compiled an impressive record of 15-1-1 with six knockouts. Fundi, two years younger at 23, had his first paid fight in 2007 and spots a 13-4 ledger, with seven victories inside the distance. Ntambi´s sole defeat, in 2008 against Francis Miyeyushu for the WBC African Boxing Union title, was a consequence of Ntambi having to retire before the sixth round with an injury, and the only other blemish on his record, a technical draw, came about when his opponent Ben Sajjabi was injured in the first round of their fight this past June. |
