July 28, 2010 / BY UBO PRESS OFFICER

Richard Nwoba and Louaa Boxing Promotion have confirmed a fight for the UBO All-Africa Super Welterweight title between Tarek Ablazim and the undefeated Abdumonem Said.

The bout is scheduled for September 29 at the Iberotel Cairo Hotel & Casino in Cairo, Egypt and will be part of a massive triple-header that also features two Egyptian title fights.

Ablazim (10-1, 5 KOs), the more experienced of the two, will be entering his second title fight as a professional. His sole defeat came in 2006 when he somewhat prematurely challenged Marat Khuzeev in Russia for the IPBF welterweight belt, and he has gone unbeaten since then.

Said (5-0, 1 KO) is considered a promising up-and-comer, and a victory over Ablazim will be a big step forward in his career.

Louaa Boxing and Nwoba, himself a former UBO International Light Heavyweight champion, is established as the # 1 promoter in Egypt, and their September promotion will be one of the most significant ever in the North African country. Besides the three title bouts, a competitive and entertaining undercard is also in the pipeline.
