Garino Ready To Delight Home-Crowd (Incl. Video)

Argentinean champion Betina Gabriela Garino is ready to make her fourth world title shot a successful one when she fights Brazilian Rival Michelle Larissa Bonassoli (9-3-1, 7 KOs) for the vacant UBO Female World Featherweight title on May 14 in what will be a historic event for her hometown.

This will be the first ever world championship fight in the city of Rafaela, and the former WBA, GBU and WBC challenger  promises the local fans a thrilling performance, and that she will make her fellow Rafaela-citizens proud by winning the world title in spectacular fashion.

Garino, who brings a professional record of 14-7-1 (2), found time recently in her busy training schedule to meet and greet children at a local orphanage, and it is such gestures that makes her a beloved figure and role model in Rafaela. She can be sure that the Club Sportivo Ben Hur will be buzzing with patriotic fans hoping to celebrate a new world champion on May 14.

While Garino is the hometown favourite, Bonassoli is not brought in as a sacrificial lamb. At 22 she is eleven years younger than the Argentinean, and her seven stoppages in nine victories indicates a considerable advantage in punching power. This is her first world title bout, and she will be aiming to make the most of it.

The Garino vs. Bonassoli UBO Female World Featherweight title bout is promoted by Heck Box Promocion, Mr. Fabian Heck. The undercard features another Rafaela-hero, as undefeated Cruiserweight Daniel Sanabria (8-0, 6 KOs) takes on an opponent to be announced.
