In what turned out to be a scrappy fight, Bella
Oleme, originally from Cameroon but based in
France for many years,
was just a little bit busier than his opponent,
and often finished best to edge otherwise close
rounds on the scorecards.
Both men seemed to want the victory a bit too
much, and often got too close and ended in
clinches that forced referee Toni Tiberi from
Luxembourg to break them up.
After ten rounds of boxing, judges Jean-Marcel
Narts (Germany), Ingo Barrabas (Germany) and Ernst
Salzgeber (Austria) scored the bout 95-94, 96-94
and 97-94 respectively, all in favor of the home
man.
With the victory, and his careers first
professional championship, Bella Oleme improved
his spotted but deceiving record to 10-28-3 (1),
while Tevdorashvili, a former UBO European
title-challenger, falls to 13-9-3 (8). |

The show, which also featured a WBF World
Heavyweight title fight that saw another
French-based Cameroonian, Carlos Takam, dethrone
American Michael Grant, was promoted by Mr.
Joseph Germain.
